Hey guys ,
At lower speeds , i can feel this clunk noise , as if something is loose upfront , mainly on my driver's side.
I had busted ball joints , already replaced Control arms , i don't feel the rattle/clunk in the steering wheel anymore , but still hear and feel as if something is loose down there.
Bar links? Bushings ?! please advise on what to look into... driving me crazy...
Thnx ,

Took it to the mechanic today , told me then stabilizer bar links were out , ordered replacements , will let you guys know when repaired. ,

Hey guys ,
Replaced the old stabilizer bar links , the clunk improved , but still hear/feel as if something is loose down there .
Replaced the control arms and now the links , what else could it be ?!

Ok , now it is driving me nuts...
As stated before , i replaced control arms , stabilizer bar links , outer tie rods , and inner tie rods , stabilizer bar bushings , and front bearings... The clunk is gone when going over rough patches , but i still have a loud pop/knock , whenever i turn left or right . As i am going 20-30mph , turn to the other side , as the weight of the car shifts , it makes the sound. If i turn again in that direction , nothing sounds , but when turn in the opposite direction , it goes again.
Took it to some other mechanic , and tells me the steering gear is making the sound , but i can't believe it makes that noise and feel .
Also i tried when parked , move the steering left and right in quick short continuous movements , and feels something is hitting down there , they said they should take it off , and look at it.
Could this be it?!
Please advise , i am out of options and getting tired of the situation....
Thnx guys...

If this car has a strut rod bushing that maybe the culprit. Being that the parts are ford. I am saying this because i had the same problem with my windstar and that is what it was. They had to reweld the metal sleeve that was moving around and replace the bushing as well. After that the sound went away. Then it started with the other side. by that time they had already provided a repair kit for that problem with a new sleeve and bushing. Hope this info helps.
