guys if some of you bothered to venture outside of the MAzdaspeed section, you would have known this a damn month ago.

Why would I want to do that? I only have a MSP. ;)

There are areas outside the MSP section? (uhm) Are you sure? How do you get to them? :D

OK, let me get this straight. There is a huge amount of info about the MSP that isn't in the MSP section?

Ummm, why isn't it? Does someone keep moving it out of the MSP section?

Good Lord this thread exemplifies Mathew's long-standing argument to a T......

Anyway, you MSP owners do not NEED the TSB's text. Trust me, this fix will be NOWHERE NEAR as big of a headache as the ECU flash was; and that is because the MP3 folks have already done all of the bitching and complaining that was needed for Mazda and the dealerships to remove their heads from their respective anuses. I'm betting your experience getting this "fix" (note the quotes) will be quite easy -- you'll call up your dealer about it and he'll say "yeah, come on in for that "fix" - I've already replaced a ton of them on the MP3s." The problem is so well known that my dealer even called ME about it before I called him! Now that is the complete opposite of how the ECU flash was.

They WILL know about it because of the TSB and because so many of the MP3 owners have been bitching about it to them for so long.
