i got mp5 badges for my pro5 and i need to know exacaly where the mp3 badges are so i can make it look the same

you can dig around in the PHOTO/VIDEO forum and find lots of pictures I am sure.....however.....

there are THREE badges on the MP3. ONE goes on the back where your Protege 5 badge is....if you got the MP5 badges from protege5online, YES when you remove the protege5 stock badge it leaves two holes....and YES the new MP5 badge will cover them.

the other two are on each side of the car....they are located below the side mirror on each side.....just about an inch above the said molding, and an inch back from the front edge of the door.

Ok

I was feeling a lil frisky so i snapped off a few pics and did some measurments. The badge is approx. 12 inches up the crease of the door from the bottom of the door and two inches over right on the drivers side of course on the passenger side it will be two inches to the left. That will get u the top left hand corner of the badge.

HeyKool how ya doing today. On a few resons for crappy photos is cuz one i use a video cam instead of a digital cam and for the biggest reason is beacuse i used an old tape to record over what ever was on it so i didn't havre to use a new tape and f u look at the time i did it it was late and all dark so i had to do black and white to pick up more detail so not to be soooo much crap but they are crappy but i did the work and if he does it right they should be perfect.

Thanks for backing me! I did it like five times cuz the gap between the door and badge just doesn't look like 2 inches and i had to make sure. So anyways.

I got a few of those mp5 badges from protege5online also but it doesn't look like they will hold on the outside, i put one on my dash and it already looks like it's unsticking, i always have to push it into places and make sure it sticks. Are you applying any other special type of glue or are we talking about completely different type of badges from protege5online?

I've had the badges for a few months now. I'm afraid to put them on. Will the adhesive ruin the paint?

Lorden, the badge will stick to the outside of your car much better than the dash. Theres not enough for the adhesive to cling onto on the dash. If you clean the area you are wanting to stick the badge to on the outside then it will stay on forever. I put them on my car before anyone & havent even had a hint of it peeling off. but I tried to stock some crossovers on the pocket at my door & those things would not stock no matter what. Theres a difference between trying to get glue to stock to plastic & trying to get it to stock to metal. Its going to hold on real good to the metal.
