I saw all the post and options with going for clear sidemarkers, and I decided to take the pricey option, THINKING that the RX-7 markers would fit in place of the stock side markers. WRONG!

I'll either have to cut into the back of the sidemarker or cut into my car to make them fit.

For those who have also gone the expensive route through RX-7.com, how did you make your clear side markers fit?!? Stock and clear look the exact same on the outside but have totally different backings. Any suggestions?

There is a 20% restocking fee if I return them. So I don't feel like sending them back to Texas only to get SOME of my money back.

onatrum...there is a thread here somewhere...that tells all about how to do the mod to the marker lights......its been a while...do some searches. you should be able to find it.

The new 2002.5 pro5 has the clear sidemarkers. Just go to the dealer and order them. I haven't called them yet but I plan to to see how much they are.

ben...he is talking about replacing the yellow ones in front of the front wheels with clear ones...NOT adding the little ones that are up just in front of the doors.

Oh. The only thing I know of is the Neon side markers. The poke out a little more than normal because the noen has them recessed. But just use a grinding wheel the grind down the back of them until they are the same thickness as the original ones.
