Derrick thanks for your interest in our clear car hoods. We make our clear and colored hoods from the finest acrylic available and each hood has been tested for fit, durability, clarity and finish. The average weight is about 22 pounds, and they will not change color from sunlight or normal engine heat.
If you do not want people to stop and stare at your fine ride, then our hoods aren't for you! But, most of our customers have reported moving 'out of the pack' of lookalike cars, to award-winning machines. Our company motto, 'You Are What You Drive' is exactly what our hoods give you-recognition, envy and a great sense of pride.
We sell a hood for you car for $495.00 plus s/h. Shipping and handling averages $100.00 each, inside continental US. Colored hoods are an additional $120.00. Each hood is custom packed in a model-specific container, to ensure safety and damage free delivery.
It takes from two to three weeks from the time we receive your order until we ship your hood. So, if you have an event coming up soon, don't wait too long. Please be aware that we cannot claim that these hoods meet legal and safety criteria to be driven on city streets and highways. Therefore, we must to sell them as "not for street use" Also, most hoods like the Black Widow are registered by design and cannot be copied; so we are not making custom hoods at this time.
