Sorry if i am not using the correct terminology, but does anyone have any information about putting clear lenses in the front turn lights? I thought i remembered someone talking about this awhile ago but I can not find the thread. How would I go about doing this? Also is this even available yet? I have a Black Mica and I think this would look relly smooth. Thanks for any help.:)

Do you mean the right/left corner reflector? Thus making the entire front light window clear/white but still having the colored bulbs?

yes, i would like the whole front to be clear.

the headlights are all one peice so its not like you can just run out and buy clear corners. BUT i think you can either

A) disassemble the headlights and take out the amber part in the corner. not sure if this is possible, but its worth to check out. make sure you seal up the headlight well so no moisture gets inside there.

B) get protege5 headlights

That was my fear. I was looking to pull the amber piece over the weekend and took a quick look....it looks like the easiest way would be sub in the P5 lights if they fit because taking that apart looks like a headache seeing as it is a solid piece. Anybody else try this project?

yeah that little slip of amber plastic looks like it could be removed , but will it work? Otherwise what is the price/difficulty/etc of swapping with the P5?

I don't know for your area, but here you need to have some kind of reflector on the corner, which the P5 headlights don't have. That's why we have turn signals on the bumper. You should check that before making a swap.

I am not sure who it was but i swear i remember someone in this forum did it already... go search it and ask him bout how to do it :)

could somebody explain this oven method a little bit further
i would appreciate it

thank you. I used a letter opener (worked perfect) and DO NOT touch the insides. I did 350 for like 5 min. Havent done it on this car did it on the civic, helped friend do it with his s13 headlights.

you gotta work quick or have someone use a blowdryer on a high setting to keep the glue semi soft so you can reuse it. if not you gotta the oven thing again.

the easiest way to do this would be to get the headlights from a p5. they are all clear and have no amber. but why? that would make your front end look like a p5, exactly like one.

i was thinking more along the lines of Duplo blocks but legos could be interewsting

I may be wrong, but that's why i just wanted to take out the reflectors. I think the black on clear theme with the tint in the windows would look nice,

also thanks to everyone who responded, it is amazing how helpful this site can be
