Clear Corners (final pics)

::gets out check book:: how much do i sent u to make me some of these bad boys? -=)

excellent work! :D I've got a pair of celica lenses sitting in my garage that will work if I use the same trim you did.

I've read that the bulb doesn't snap into the lenses socket. Is that true with the ones you used?

Give us a brand name on the epoxy/superglue you used buddy

All you do is buy RX-7 Clear Corners from www.procarparts.com ($35), Rubber door trim ($4.99), and Automotive Superglue ($.97).

Total Cost=About $40.

I would like to make them for everybody, but you need to put the rubber trim on when they are on the car to close up that gap the right way.

I wish I would have took before pictures of the lenses so I could show you all where to cut. If someone will take a pic of the backside of the lens before cutting I will photoshop a pics that will show everyone where to cut.:D

Bulb Housings fit right in there. I used Super Glue brand Automotive super glue. Found it at wal-mart with the automotive epoxies. That trim would prolly work with the celica ones, depending on how thick they are. If they are too thin it might not work.

Thanks man! I'm going to drag the wife over there tonight and see what I can find. I to will post picks once I get the project done. I smell a 'how to' thread coming :)

Yeah, I was gonna do a how-to but couldn't find the digi-cam. It was supposed to start raining soon and I didn't want to waste time looking for the camera.

Hey man I got my clear lenses from a 2001 celica and did the door trim for a grommet. Worked great! I'll get some pixs this weekend and post sometime next week.

Here is the final touch. These are 2001 celica lenses:
