So I've been searching on how to get sat radio for my car since it was in the shop and the rental car I'm using has xm radio and I love it. I've seen that there are two options, either get an independent or standalone and plug it into my aux but my steering wheel buttons wont work. Or get the OEM sirius module and the installation kit with the wiring harness which is more pricey but my steering buttons would work.
I wouldn't mind dishing out a little bit more but I don't wanna go crazy. Also I'm not so handy with electrics and wiring, thinking I would have somewhere install it for me. Also the links or link I found were outdated, does anyone have an updated one or a website that I could check for prices? Ebay came up with nothing. I have a 08.5 gt ms3 which I read also would need the new module.
Any help? Oh and would the monthly fee be the same or is it different for our cars? TIA
