Civic Vs. Vette

--- Ooh and by the way I should be in jail, and I cannot wait to get my turbo on my car. A friend of mine with a Civic running a Garrett T3/T4 turbo with a 1.6L engine. He was running about 10psi. Well last night a 99 Lambirghini Diablo (SP) rode by and my friend jumps in his car and I hop in with him, we get to the light when it is red. So we were going to try to catch it. But it was to far ahead of us, so we were pissed. But wait, a 93 Corvette pulls up beside us, my friend did not launch his car right. The Vette left him from the line, but by second gear we passed him, by like 2 car lengths. Then my friend asked after they caught back up if they wanted to go again, they said "yes". So we took off and left them really bad, then as we were coming over a hill, a cop was comming from the other direction, blue lights a blazzing. The Vette drifted into a neighborhood, my friend was freaking out, because in the past to nights he got tickets. But thank GOD the cop went after the Vette.

We were lucky, my friends Civic is running a 12.88 in the 1/4 mile tunned, right now his car is not tunned.

wow....I bet THAT was an adrenaline rush! I love it!

The fastest I have ever been busted for speeding was 120+ in the miata. whew! That was stOOpid...I should have known not to race two punks in two mustangs. But I kicked their butts! (v6s)
I love my Mazda 1.8L miata...sneaks up on the most ignorant of all drivers. Their thinking is "pssshhh...it's a girl...in a miata!" not knowing this girl has super powers and the miata is no longer the 90 hp putt-putt cutie that it used to be....heh heh hehhh(laugh)

Sounds like a slow vette if it lost to a civic that can no longer run 12.8.

Well if we were winning I guess it would half to be slow now wouldn't it. If you think that the Vette is slow he also raced a Firebird T/A W-6, and beat him bey a car legnth, I think that Firebird has the new Vette engine, but I may be mistaken.

Cool story...would have been neat if you could catch up with the Diablo...haha it sux here for exotics...definitely no Lambos running around here.

From what I hear this guy has 3 of them. He has a 92 Countach(SP) the SUV, and I think this one is a 2000, or 2001 Diablo. It must be nice right?
