Civic Performance

Ugh, sorry for posting this, I know it should be easy as hell to find..but where are some good sites to find performance parts for a 2002 Honda Civic? My buddy just got a white one, and he wants to make it go fast...or atleast not as slow as it does...lol. He's looking for more than just intake/exhaust/vinyl/rims, he's looking anywhere from simple things like that, to turbo, or SC, or wutever woners he can do to that car, but he doesn't want to do an engine swap, just wants to work with what he has...thank you all for any help/websites. Try to limit any flaming and or bashing. Thanks guys/gals.

yea its a hard market... they dont really make any preformance parts for it. My buddy has one and hes doing a custom turbo kit. t3/t4 hybrid sleeved and forged with full standalone. Im going to suggest the 7th gen forums thier all dicks for the most part but still not bad.

yeah, I understand on the not much performance parts...you'd think there would be cause its a civic, then you realize the closest thing to performance you can find easily for these things is a full motor swap or something really crazy. Luckily, we have a few tuner places close, and he's gonna do the rounds and see what he can turn up...hopefully one of them will be able to do a turbo for him, as thats really his goal, is to have a good turbo setup, producing some more umph, but not making it really unreliable and ungawdly tirespin city(he's looking into tranny work via LSD and Clutch, and heavyduty flywheel so he doesn't just kill that). A question I have though, is how strong are the internals on the Civics? are they strong enough to even support a turbo setup? or is he gonna have to overhaul...to start he'd prolly stay low PSI, so take that into consideration...and prolly a nice small/medium sized turbo...like our size..maybe bigger, maybe smaller..

no its all alluminum... the like to break. This is why people sleeve the motors. Civics are just like our cars just with a bigger aftermarket backing and no cast iron motor so think of it like that.

heh, well, 7th gen civic..wow..rice galore, I thought the people on here where bad...WRONG!!!!...I shall never call anyone rice again...I had to stop looking, I was getting hungry from all the rice, and I can't even post there, cause they have one of those 'the admins have to approve j00' policies, so I can't even shame them...lol.
