Here's a snippet from a review of the Civic competition: "The car looks unbalanced, feels rough, and fails to deliver any meaningful chassis thrills. Designed as a graduation gift for college students, but too cheap and nasty to cut it. The VTEC is reasonably well equipped for the money. Consider Hyundai coupe."

Sheesh, what a horrible review. Where the heck did you get it from and was it talking about the new SI or Civic EX Coupe. My ex girlfriend test drove the new EX Coupe, Mitsubishi Mirage, Nissan Sentra and a couple of other cars. She ended up getting the Mirage. She said the Civic EX sucked. But she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about, but I agree about the EX not delivering the goods.

I'm also wondering because they recommended the hyundai twice out of three reviews. I have not been able to drive a new civic so I wouldn't know but for some reason I don't believe that it is as bad as they make it out to be.

San Fran , did you cut some kind of deal with hyundia? whay are they giving you the new mothra gt if you can up there sales?
only playin :D

my bro has a 01 lx coupe :( the body roll is tremendous, the auto tranny has strange timing and the thing rides about 6" higher than my mx3. on the highway i feel like i'm gonn start flying. honda fudged up...but then again that's what happens when you own a honda/acura. the exception is the s2000 :D

Oooh careful what you say about Acuras mx, hehe, not everybody here is driving Mazdas.. :D

Anyway.. I guess that means the Tiburon is good? I went to go test drive one a while ago with my mom, but they didn't have any of the older ones and they hadn't gotten the new ones in yet.. my mom thinks the new one looks like a Mustang.. I like the old one with lots of headlights and the cool wavy sides.. but that's just me.. I went by the dealer today on the way to dinner and I saw one of the new ones.. maybe I should talk my mom into test driving it.. :o

True, true. :D I have a feeling that when the Evo comes out, I'm gonna be kicking myself for getting the MP3.. I'm already doing that because of the RX-7 though. :o Oh well...

Just wait until they bring the Integra Type R to america. You will be impressed. 220 HP, LSD, amazing suspension. It is supposed to run mid 5s 0-60. I can't wait to see those here.

Doesn't the RSX type S use the same engine as the new Integra DC5 type r? Well, even if it isn't, it's already 200 hp so it's pretty fast. Anywyas, the old DC2 Type R was so much sleeker than the new one. The new one is too chunky looking.

I believe it is like the previous GSR and type R. The same basic motor but there are many changes. The biggest problem with the RSX type S right now is that it has all this power but because it doesn't have a LSD, people have trouble putting that power down. The Type R will solve that problem. I agree that the old ITR looked better but the more I see the newer RSX R the more I like it. I swear I could be a designer for Honda/Acura. Their biggest problem is the ride height of their cars. If they had the RSX riding lower with a bit larger rims, thus closing the wheel gap, people would love them. But as the case is, the RSX has about 3 inches of wheel gap which makes it look jacked up. If it were me, the RSX would be dropped 2 inches straight from the factory. A lowered RSX just looks bad ass.

I couldn't agree more with initialRES, I've seen quite a few RSX's in my local areas already hooked somewhat. And they look tight. Someone who works at one of the local shops has a black one tucking some 18's with the factory body kit offerings. I couldn't stop drooling, until they started asking me about my MP3, hehe :D I love the yellow, it will always turn heads....Oh yeah, this post is being moved to Off-Topic
