Cigarette Lighter Power

Anyone know how to maker the cigarette lighter be on with the ignition off (no key). I like to charge my cell phone or sometimes any other similar device while I am not in the car. My old car the lighter always had power and I got used to it. thanks

Well depending what car you have, the MS3 has a 12V entry in the center console. It's located next to the AUX input.

Again, I have a 08 MS3.

it is an 07 ms3, but the 12v next to the aux also turns off with the engine, but I would prefer the 12v on the console to have power all the time.

Well, the basic process would be to find a constant +12v source (possibly for the radio presets) and tap off of that (ADDING ANOTHER FUSE TO THE NEW WIRE).

Or, you could re-wire the fuse panel in the passenger foot-well; keeping the existing fuse... I think that could become complicated though.
