Chrome handles and pillars

:
Mazda, CX9 Touring
New to the forum but have had my CX9 since 2008. Love the vehicle and with the lease coming up I have decided to purchase. So I thought that I would change things up a little after seeing some of the appearance mods that you all have done.

Next on the list is LED DRLs. Any ideas of good locations? I was thinking of putting them above or below the trim line in the location where the fog lights would be located.

Pillars look good, im glad you didnt put the little triangular shaped those kinda look cheesy

Nice job on the handles and pillars ... Now a little chrome strip around the fog light housing would look nice ...

Just found out that the LED DRL are on back order so changed up the manufacture and hope to get them before the weekend.
I was thinking the same fog light location but really need to see the lights. I was also thinking of putting them under the bottom grill?
I will post and update when I get the lights.

The handles look good on the dark SUV. The pillars look plasticized and cheaper compared to the duller OEM chrome. On a white car, I guess they would stand out less.

Overall, I am not a fan of these aftermarket products, unless they are done well, or offer some sort of scratch/ding protection.

But I think they might look great combined with some chrome accented running boards.

Tcork, thanks for posting these shots. You might consider putting thin LED strips along the edge of the headlamps for some subtle, but enhanced visibility.
