christmas is comming up.... what to get GF?

Make dinner for her and give her a poem of some sort that you put in a frame and a dozen red roses. Make sure you get a card too.

so I booked a room on the queen mary for their new years

Like I said for those that like to get jewelry...get the everyday kind. Not the once in a blue moon kind. Girls like the little boutique stores in the mall. Like Claires Boutique it's called. There's one like it in every mall. A little Victorias underwear would be nice. Make sure you get the right size and something thats not once in a blue moon type thing either. Like some fluffy pink & white thongs or leopard skin kind... not every woman is into that. Get a mixture of different things. From underwear to earrings, teddy bear, romantic card, m&m candy cane (I love those in my stocking), even hair accessories if you notice that she likes to do her hair a certain way. All of this is rather inexpensive and she'll love you for it. Women like variety and she will never see it coming. If you notice that she likes a certain shoe, thats all well and good, but she's gonna hate them if they're the wrong size and hurt her feet later on. lol Try to stay away from clothes, you will always go wrong with it. Every woman I've known including myself, need to try on every piece of clothing except underwear & socks for it to look right on us. Trust me on this one, unless you are OBSOLUTELY sure about the clothing you're getting, DONT DO IT.

cept, are you talking about Claire's that lil chain store??? IMO...DONT buy your gf anything from there...thats all cheap ass trashy s***....sometimes there are cute things but NOT to buy as an xmas gift! all the earrings i have gotten from their have broken, lol

If you gotta wife fellas...you had better get something NICE. PLEASEEEEE give Ghost a clue this year guys. No kidding...one year he got me a V.S. naughty santas outfit. He got the "XX" one. He thought it brought more stuff. He got it online. When it came in the mail...the XX was for what SIZE it was!!! I could'nt be mad at him, I was laughing too hard..it was sooooo not right. lol

It depends on the girl so much. My BF isn't into romantic gifts and built me a computer the year I went away to school. Best gift I could have asked for. I've given him a watch, clothes, etc. as gifts in the past. I have some ideas so far for this year. I like the spa and cruise ideas myself.

I do this. Got to her and say....ok, we can spend this much on each other....here's the card( same card as hers anyways)....go have fun and get someting for yourself, and I'll get something for me to. And we get one surprise for each other too.

xmas is not a big thing for us. More of a pain in the Ass really. No Kids here. But, we don't treat ourselves to much often, and money is usually tight all year round. So, for us to have a shopping spree is fun, and we always get what we want. I got my Canon G5 this year, kinda combined money from various things with what she was going to spend on me. And last year, I never got a thing....no really, nothing from her. I said, we're buying the speed (orange one at the time) and that was going to be my xmas gift. She tried everything to give me something else, I said NO, car is mine granted, I never got it until JUNE! The orange one I had ordered showed up on boxing day, but I decided I didn't want it, so that's my fault really....well, hers too as she helped talked me into waiting for titanium...whew.

Anyhow, your really the only one that knows what special thing your gf/bf needs imho.

Bad f'n idea. Learned that lesson a long time ago. If I want to buy her clothes, she comes with me.

Oh, and that goes the other way around too. I don't like opening gifts on xmas day, only to see another shirt, another pair of socks and underwear. Whoopdy f'n doo. Gimme something I can play with, something electronic, something for the car maybe, or some computer stuff. That's what I'm into. Most guys do not like getting clothes for xmas. It's just not a big deal for us. If I pick up a wrapped box, and it's obvious that's a shirt or something, I don't care to open it really.
