Chicago Rev-It-Up...

oh yeah, the current list is shown on THIS THREAD

I will start a new thread on this forum after you guys' scores are up, so the admins don't get all worked up because I linked to the 'other' site :D

What an awesome day!

Today was just loads of fun! Ran into a guy w/ a Yellow MP3 from home, and was next to some guy from Lansing in line to race. Also met a guy who was waiting for an MSP, but got a white 6S (that's his name now, white6s). That was my car that you left the note on, Dex, wish we could have met up and hung out. I was wearing the BRIGHTEST orange shirt ever ... ya see me?

Anyway, first run was 39 soemthin, but I hit a cone so it was 41.xxx - sucks. Second run I wasn't nervous and ran a 38.81!!! First autox ever, and I may be hooked, too.

Dexter, why do you hate the AutoBarn of Countryside? Just curious as I bought my car there too.

my top run was a 43.5...i dont think tooo bad for a first time...at least i didnt go straight through the line of cones like some one.....

Yeah Dex, it probably was. I parked in what was like the first row (right after you get in the gate) and it was the only black speed with Wisconsin plates that I saw. My first run was a 39 even, and my second run was a 38.41. I had a blast!

I wish I knew who to look for when I was there so I could meet you guys. I did however get to meet a few sweet looking ladies today!

ok fellas, I have created a new thread on this forum to track the Protege owners' scores:

http://forum.protegemp3.com/vbb222/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22520

Chicago participants, please PM me your last name AFTER you have checked on the revitup site and see that your score is up in their database.

I believe the Chicago results should be up by Tuesday the latest :)

thanks!

Thanks for getting me up on the board ZoomZoom. Anyone know if the coarses are step up simular as far as lap times go? What was the pro driver index @ Chi town?

I believe the driver index changes from day to day. Track temperature, condition, and humidity effect the car's performance. I had my best time of 40.573 sec on Friday at 2:20.

As I told ZoomZoomH, the track was starting to get torn up over time. Tell me if this wasn't more fun than Great America, Cedar Point, Disneyland, and Camp Snoopy rolled up in a big burrito?

I know the pro driver index changes all day long but ours was pretty much within a couple seconds all day. Our PDI was around 33 sec while I was there all morning and afternoon. It was right at 33 sec when I ran my second lap at just under 36 secs... which got me a pat on the back. But it was by far the best time I've had in a long time. You just can't beat driving a brand new Mazda 6 like you just stole it!
