Hello everyone, I am new here, and planning to my wife a P5 (vivdid yellow if possible, then RED)....

I want to know where did you guys get the P5 at...? In that case, I can referr your price and see I can get a better deal (or at least - MATCH the price)...

I am using Autobytel and those online price quote service as well.....but I just want to ask local Chicago brother and sister about some DEALER information, may be I can sway by those dealer and get a head start....

PLanning to get the new A/T trans wtih most of the options (moon, ABS, CD changer, bags....etc but no leather and crome)

Thanks everyone.......and yes, I am planning to MOD the P5 behind her back (lower, catback, CAI, 18" tint....but no major engine mod)

I got mine at Harold Mazda in Olympia Fields. They were great about everything. No hassles, and they didn't pressure me to buy the car. I forget the number and stuff because I don't have it here with me. I'm sure you can look it up. Good Luck! :)

I got mine at Rosen Mazda. They had every color and every option to choose from because they have a huge warehouse.

Rosen Mazda is a pretty tight dealer - go to the Lake Villa one (lake county north area) and ask for Steve F.

I got my yellow 03 at The Auto Barn in country side,il and they treat referals with respect there. all they ask for if ur a referel is $100 over invoice. pm if u wanna know more drop my name and talk to steve nunez!! good luck

I would recommend either Harold in Olympia Fields and/or Countryside Mazda in...um...Countryside :). I picked mine up for invoice at Countryside. Talk to Brian Allen if you go in....

Really? They were cool with me; well, I basically walked into the place saying: this is what I want, this is how much I am going pay (invoice or less), this is how I am going to finance it, and I'll be back in 3 days to pick it up. 1 hour later, I had signed the paperwork, got the car, and moved on with life.

It's amazing how painless the process is when YOU walk in telling THEM what you're going to do with your money, not what THEY want you to do with it.

who did u buy ur car from ..if u remember the name..im stop in there from time to time to talk to the guys about whats new and stuff

I bought it from Brian Allen (sales manager) and some dude named Frank. However, I had already done like tons of research so it ended up that they basically just walked me around the dealer as opposed to just "selling" something to me.

The parts manager @ Community Mazda in Oak Forest is like one of Mazda's best (in the country) and they have re-built a few RX7s in their shop there (they had one in the back ready for new turbos last time I was there).

Chrome wheels are not an option. Polished wheels are however, there is a large diffrence.

just don't get it from schaumburg Mazda
they are good at ripping customer.
I'm one of them. (ripped)

Bijou...where from man? I wouldn't mind checking out your MP5. Sounds like some options and mods I'd like to see (esp. that antenna and CAI)

it was alot harder to do that with the MSP. they wanted 24 thousand dollars for it.. i was like you got to be ******* kidding me. it was an intense battle to get it down to normal price, i spent all day there. it was such a ******* bogus asshole move on thier part: they new i had a deposit on it, they knew i was waiting for MONTHS with the information that the MSRP was 20,500. And then i go in when they call me up to tell me they have an MSP in and the ******* tag is 23,950. **** THAT.

I'm on the far southeast side of the City; near NW Indiana, but work in the SW Suburbs.

Have any pics of your MP5?
