$631 on cardomain..MyZmZm said:I know you just placed your order, and I'm not sure what the US pricing is like, but I just got the Clarion DXZ955MC a little over a week ago, and I absolutely love. You can control just about everything with this thing. Last HU I'm ever buying, most likely...
it is a discontinued item. Crutchfield doesnt even carry it anymore.MyZmZm said:^ Is that US? Wow, I got a good deal - paid less than that CA.
not looking to spend that much. I dont really like loud bass.. just nice punchy bass to fill.. I was happy with two old school mtx's.. "entry levels" new set up will be similar.. I think two 12" mtx 5500 or something similar with an mtx amp to push them.Stormtrooper said:I have a couple amps if your interested. An ARC 600.4 100 watts x 4 or 300 x 2(for subs)These amps are designed by Zapco engineers ..good stuff.I also have an Orion old school 280 gx 2 x 80 ...Both amps have great sound quality. The Arc is Brand new, never used..

hm.. I guess you guys have never seen my setup..chuyler1 said:if you don't really like loud bass then why the hell are you interested in a pair of 12"s? A single 8" or 10" sub with 200-300 watts RMS will fill out the low end just fine...especially in a hatchback like the P5.
did I make the box? no.. Impact made that box. It cant hold something too huge. It goes into the whole spare well.chuyler1 said:Well before you buy anything I would check the mounting depth. That custom box might not hold a 1000w subwoofer (which tend to have large magnet structures).
Did you do the install yourself?
