The 2004-06 audi tt comes with one of two turbos a k03 which produces 180hp on the 1.8t and is inferior to the k04 that is already in the speed3 and there is also a k04 which produces 225hp on the 1.8t and is the same as the turbo in the ms3. So it looks like you could make the swap, but why the hell would you want to. just cuz the VW crowd runs these turbos to 23 psi does not mean the MS3 can do the same... the k04 can produce that kind of boost on the VW's because the engine is only 1.8L and the CFM required to to make that amount of boost is much lower than our larger 2.3L
also need to take trim into acount as the k04 comes in different trim levels and the speed 3 and 1.8t may be different as far as i know no one has verified it yet...
maybe you could mate the compressor housing from a larger K series if there is one made. My friend has a tt s4. i am pretty sure it uses k series for the stock twin turbo, and he said he upgraded easily to a turbo from a porsche. I will ask him what model the porsche turbo is maybe it shares the same flanges since I am pretty sure he has stock manifolds.
I don't think he owns a ms3, look as his name, he wants a VW. I am not sure why he doesn't get one, he comes in here and post a question and then never checks for answers.
who are you to say what i should get. i have stated before that i am interested in getting a MS3 and yes my name is MKV bcz i like the car but wouldn't want it bcz what i want in it would put me well over 22k. i am simply asking if you could swap them just out of curiosity.(pissed)
