Changing Automatic Tranny to Manual???

Hi y'all!!!
Has anyone successfully converted their Mazda 3 from an automatic to a manual? And if so how much did it cost you? Do you regret it? Any info is greatly appreciated!!

Sell it and get another car. It will be easier, cheaper and quicker IMO.
Changing the tranny is not as simple as removing the current auto and replacing it with a manual.

You will need so many parts and so much labour that it would never be worth it

Seriously. At the very least, you'll need a new transmission and ECU. Neither of those are cheap, and they're very labor intensive to install as well. You're also just asking for issues down the road, along with a voided warranty and other stuff.
