Bought my 3 not even 3 weeks ago, it was certified and has bumper to bumper warranty till 100k or October 2016
Yesterday I made a 400 mile round trip to pick up my brother. While he was looking at it he noticed the rear tire has a broken belt. Called Mazda USA on my way home and they said they won't cover it but told me to call Yokohama. Yokohama has a 4 year warranty and told me to take it to one of their dealers. The guy there told me they can offer a whopping $10 towards a new tire but to take it to The dealership and have them look at it and that the tire only has 3/32" of tread and that it would pass inspection but shouldn't have passed a cpo. The woman that sold me the car said it houldnt be an issue and sent me to service. They didn't even look at it and told me it would be $250 to replace it and they would not cover it.
Does this sound like total bulls*** to any one else? I haven't owned the car for 3 weeks it has 21k miles. I bought it so that I wouldn't have to shell out money into another used car and now 3 weeks later I have to put $250 into it from something that is no where near my fault.
