Certificate of Origin for GTR states 187 HP

Just bought a new GTR and the certificate of origin states CX5 GTR XA, but 187 HP.
The non turbo is 187 HP, turbo is 227 HP..how can this be wrong?

I'd trust your right foot over the paperwork. Does it feel like the Turbo?

Be happy. In some states the annual registration amount is partially based on HP.

Who cares. GT-R is only a turbo. So unless you have a GT with the 2.5L NA and not the GT-R, then what difference does the paperwork make?

just curious is to why all certificates of origin state 187 hp, turbo and non turbo. I guess no one finds it odd?

It does seem odd, but only because we don't know the underlying rationale, possibly some governmental regulation or economic reason [avoiding some kind of fee?].

It is odd sure, but nothing I'd devote any effort into thinking about unless I had a reason to feel like my GT-R mistakenly has the NA engine.

And if so you'd be doing a lot more than thinking about it! (bicker)
