Replaced front brakes w/ Centric premium rotors, Centric calipers, and Posiquiet pads.
Pulses slightly. Apparently rotors warped from factory.
Rotors from Rockauto. The rest from local parts store.
Anyone have any experience getting replacements from Centric?

are you certain that you didn't get any crud etc. between the rotor and hub? Also, is the finish surface on both rotors - both sides - even? check that before you dump them.

If you have a dial indicator you can measure the runout in each one to find the offender(s)

Hey, I've recently noticed a pulsing when coming to a stop and I've got C-Tek disks on the front of my car. A buddy of mine is sending me a dial indicator to help figure out which rotor is the problem. If one of them is warped I doubt I'll try to get a replacement since they were so cheap. I'll just pick up a set from a different manufacturer, it's a shame that even their "premium" line of rotors come with a defect like that.

Did your pulsing develop over time or did you notice it right away?

Rabid,
Needed it done immediately, so had CarX do the work. One would guess they know what they are doing, so I would hope they cleaned it up before installing.. They were new and looked perfect.

Cheese,
Pulsing started immediately after install. Liked their premium because thet are coated, no rust shows. Centric said talk to store. Got rotors from Rockauto and Posiquiets from local store I found that handles Centric. Bought rotors months ago before engine blew, so they are outside of 90 day warrantee. Rock is checking it out. After a week of driving, I bet pads will be damaged and have to be replaced. Can't imagine local will replace pads if I bought rotors elsewhere.

Hope I don't have to start over.

Thanks guys.

good luck with your issue, its going to be lost cause. your independent garage wont care about customer supplied rotors and your pads will likely be fine. the could have likely not cleaned your hubs well enough or ground them down too much and over torqued your wheels. only think i could sugguest is going to a shop that resurfaces rotors on the car. that will correct your issue
