Central Florida Drag meet

Now, I know there are alot of people on from the Central Florida area so I'm thinking that we could meet at bithlow for the Sunday Funday. If a group of us showed up, people would notice. I'm going and I'm trying to get my friend to bring his sweet 01 ES (custom widebody project). I'm coming from Melbourne so all you Orlando, Winter Park, and even Tampa people should try to make it. The gates open at 10am and its only $10 admin + $5 more to run. They have timed and "street" lanes. Last time I went there were two 11sec vipers. This goes out to all Protege's, 323's, Mazda 3's, etc. and any other Mazda car you or a friend has.
I will also be getting 1/4mi times to see how the new header and high-flow cat run.

i wouldnt waste my time going to funday sunday, i was there at the last one and it took us 45 minutes to see the tech guy. And we got there at 10:00 on the dot. Trust me, dont waste your time going to it.

Well, everyone has different expirences. I spent an average of 5 min in line. Yes, the timed lanes can be slow but the street class is usually quick and only contains 4-5 cars.

(rofl) that has got to be the funniest s*** i have ever heard in my life. 5 minutes in line, haha yea right. try 50 minutes. I am at the track all the time (not always racing) the lines are NEVER that short. Whats the point of going to the track when you get in the "street class" lanes when you get no time.

Well, I must have been lucky because it was only 5 mins. Running in the street class gives you a place to practice and race friends with out getting arrested. Ever been pulled over for street racing? $3600 a year in car insurance alone will change your mind, not to mention fines, etc. If you don't want to come, thats fine, but don't spoil the idea for other people.

Well, I won't be going to Funday Sunday because my CEL is still coming on. I have to get the codes read and find out whats going on.
