i have taken out the control panel...
it really quit simple...i will give instruction:
- push the top air vents down (by the 4way button)
- pull on the silver panel, pushing on the compartment below the cd player, the top of the panel will just pop out
and you can continue down until you get to the ac controls
behind the center console there are the controls for the ac and fan speed
if you turn the knobs you will notice what is being pulled/pushed....what you need to do is pop the clips out and pull of the control wires...once they are both removed (one on passenger side and on driver) the panel will pop out....glovebox removal is required i think...its been a lil while since i did it...once the panel is off you have free access to the cd player...but u need the kenwood keys to get the player out
