Center Armrest Compartment

I noticed the other day (I'm SO obsevant!) that there is a clip-like device molded into the underside of the hinged center armrest storage compartment.

Anyone have any idea what this is for?

Business cards, toll tickets, and the like.

You can keep a small 22 caliber pistol attached to that. Jus playin I haven't decided what I'm gonna do with that either. My Civic had it too
