CEL this morning. Quick question

Hey guys had a CEL this morning on my way to school. I was trying to check it while driving with my scan gauge but I cleared it by accident. Ive driven around about 30 miles today and it hasn't come back on. I sort of wish it would come back so I could see whats wrong.

If its serious the CEL will come back right??

yeah just do exactly what u did on ur way to school like drive the same way if it doesnt come back on then i would think u would be ok but im not 100% positive.

No need to worry if it's not coming back. Go to any auto parts store and they should be able to pull the archived code for you, as well as clear it from memory.

Option 2 is pick up either a DH or AP and you can clear it yourself, and use it for other things on your car. Or you pick up a code reader on your own...
