CEL O2 Fix or Diode?

I just ordered a DownPipe and was wondering how i should go about eliminating the CEL once i install, i have searched around and found the O2 fix and also the diode way of Fixing the issue i was just wondering which route to go. i am eventually getting the car tuned over the Christmas holiday, i just dont want my car to null out...

Accessport has a feature where you can disable the CEL for certain codes.

You have fp internals, right?

No FP internals yet, so far turbo back 3" exhaust intake and bov. Only have the catback and intake installed so far next week the dp and BOV go on, and I don't want it to throw codes a few days after

turbo back exhaust implies you already have a downpipe, you understand the terminology right?

don't put a downpipe on without upgraded fuel pump internals. Just noticed you have an '08...why'd you post this in the genpoo section?
Also, if you plan on going full VTA on the BOV, you better have an accessport to tune for it....

i understand what a turbo back exhaust is, the Downpipe and Bov arent installed yet because i was wondering what i should do as a precaution before i install, and i posted threw the Iphone app for mazda247 idk why it got put under the new gen

As a precaution for DP install? Get fuel pump internals and some sort of programmer, AP preferably. fp will drop without a tune and on stock hpfp internals when using a downpipe........which can potentially cause a blown motor.
