Catback - who still makes them???

Theres tons of subies with bov in my town I think theyre fine. Magnaflow is one of the few carb legal exhausts here

What the ^#*@!!! Youre rite you cant have a bov that vents to atmosphere why!?

What i am learning about california, If anything works better or differently, they will ban it! ahhh so frustrating. Obviously, i just moved here...

cant vent to atm, you need a carb sticker on your bpv and need both cats. carb sticker needed for intake

intercooler you can mess with a tad but needs to look clean even then some shops will still tag you for not being stock.

This sucks, basically need a stock car. What is the reasoning of a stock intercooler vs aftermarket?

What is a carb sticker???

California air resources board.says its safe.ive lived here since birth but never knew you cant have a bov that vents to atmosphere..

The manufacturer puts them on a sticker or theyre stamped in the material I think.

I use an intake that i made. But, i have a brand new AEM intake that i just never used. I wonder if there is a carb sticker in there that i can use. Then, i might try to sneak one by the smog shop by installing a stock evo bpv, then run the hose under / into the motor area (but not connected to anything). (sssh)

thats a good question. I looked them up, seem nice. I may go that route. thanks!

I spoke with Racing Beat, they said that their exhaust meets the CA requirements. I might just go that route on the catback since it is 2.5"...

This is to see if your parts are carb legal http://www.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/devices/amquery.php. but I wonder if you have a bpv that isnt carb approved but the part # was accidentally filed off bbbuttt you have paperwork from a bpv that is approved will they accept it..doubtful but curious
