Cat Back Tubing....

Just ran cat back tubing...2.5" manderil bent, with no resonator. For now I left the racing beat muffler on which is suprisingly quiet....almost too quiet! Anyone have advice on which muffler to got with? (boom01) I'd prefer a chambered exhaust for a softer deeper exhaust note. (chair) Has anyone tried running a Borla, Magnaflow,Dynamax, or Flowmaster? If not...is anyone running a straight through exhaust with the tone I'm looking for? (confused) Any advice would be appreciated. (attn)

the best sounding exhaust for MSP that i've heard is this:

this is tsudo exhaust.
got it from here:

seriously i hevent heard a deeper most mellow tone out of any other exhaust.
backfires are sweet too :D

yeah, that thread is a very good comparison of most of exhausts people on this thread have.

u can definetly choose one for your taste.

^ not really
i ran catless for 4 months, almost no difference in sound.

dont forget, u have a P5, he has an MSP

turbo muffles the sound of the exhaust.

Where did you get it with manderil bending? I am just about ready to go and get my exhaust done, but can't find anywhere that does that type of bending.

no place will do the mandrel bends....the machine that bends the piping is WAY too expensive for any exhaust shop to afford. however, most places will be able to order pre-bent sections and cut and weld everything together. the shop i went to had the bends on hand, which surprised me since this was just an ordinary exhaust shop.

Did you feel any difference by doing this?? Was any louder than stock? I was actually thinking of doing this a couple of months ago but thought it may be to loud. I wouldnt do it if there werent any gains to be had as well. Let me know.

Thanks
