Caska with Bose system

Has anyone tried to install the Caska head unit on to their Mazdaspeed3 with the Bose system? I've tried to install it and I dont get any sound I tried to tap like Fenrir posted. I think the wiring harness is bad I found a black tape on a red wire when I peeled it off; the red plastic cover was cut off.

If it is the same problem I had with my aftermarket deck, you will need to move the remote wire pin. It was located in the wrong place on the aftermarket wiring harness.

which wire is the remote coming out of the harness?

It is a blue wire. If you look at your stock wiring harness and then the harness from your aftermarket deck that plugs into the stock harness, the blue remote wires will not match up. If I'm not mistaken (don't quote me) you have to remove the aftermarket blue remote wire, and move it down one "slot"....But I can't remember. I'm sorry I couldn't be much more help!
