Cargo net question

We always have our third row folded and I'm wondering what do you guys using to keep groceries behind the second row . The cargo net from Mazda seems designed only for use behind the third row. I know that carton boxes would do the trick but would be nice not carry them all the time.

You are right about the net not working for that - annoying really since that is what I envisioned when I got it.

Anyway. I just open up the lid of the storage compartment back there and then sit the grocery bags in; having the top flipped up and the slight lower level of the storage tray keeps things in place nicely. However, I don't really keep anything else in the storage tray - my snow brush is in there and that's it. If you keep stuff there it's not a good solution. I only use the seat back area if I have larger items and those don't wobble around anyway. It occurs to me that maybe I don't grocery shop the way most people do though because I rarely have more than 6 bags or so at the actualy grocery store. I do most of my shopping at Sams or Costco.

It's also for stretching out to cover smallish pr flat items with the 3rd row down. Wal Mart has a few storage box/organizer things that hold a few bag of groceries, etc. They are fabric and wire, so they fold flat when not it use. I haven't measured, but I'd love to have one that fits behind the raised 3rd row.
