Cargo cover

Looking to get a cargo cover for my 2024 CX5 GS but don't want to pay $300 from dealer any suggestions?

I am assume you are in Canada since you have a GS (like me). Scarboro Mazda has an OEM cover for $50 less than your dealer (link below). There are lower cost ones on Amazon but they are cheap quality, in my experience.

I cut a piece of wood to fit. You can use a thin piece as a cover. I used a thicker piece as an upper deck so I can lay my tool pouches on it for easy access. Because the area gets direct sun from the hatch, I cover the pouches with a black welding felt.

For my CX-3 the deck is 1 ft wide and about 3 ft long. If the deck is longer and wider, it will need a support column in the center.
