I contacted *************.com about the WW piece and they told me that the piece is still available, but is special order. I would be willing to donate that spoiler (when I buy it, which is very soon by the way) to the people at DG Motorsports to have them make a mold for you guys.

That would be awesome bro. We can def get a nice list going too

I spoke to Amie today about this... she said they probably wouldn't do something like this unless they received some pre-orders, but it wasn't out of the question to have made. They still have their yellow P5 too.

Give her this list since you are already in contact with her... And if we can get a price then we can start sending the money... $150!? If it cost that...I can def do it..

I edited one of my names out....and fixed the "like DGM", since its like WW.

Also now Chargespeed makes a carbon fiber "vortex" generator for WRXs. Just a thought.

I don't know about the vortex generators bro...they might stick out rather then complement our cars... I'm sticking to the WW and would be easier to mold as well rather then creating a new piece. So the list is for the CF WW one like you said. Anyone talk to DGM yet since?

i can go get more if you need them but those are all i have right now.

I bought this brand new with my WW Evo hood and a few other body parts from mitch at protege5online waaay back, probably in 03. My order was pretty big at the time so on a whim i threw this spoiler in for the heck of it. Never got around to putting it on and decided I didnt really want to once I had it......just felt the car didnt need it. I also bought orange underbody neons that I never used and still sit in my garage, a DGM CF grill that I decided i didnt like and sold immediatly thereafter and mazdaspeed (ebay) racing buckets that I decided werent comfortable enough. point being I dont like to put things on my car unless I am completely certain I want them there, and I just never was excited about this piece.

I've been in contact w/ a yacht manufacture who's interested in doing car stuff. They contacted me asking what they could make.

I've given them a few ideas at this point including this.

What ever happend to DG's intrest, given one of us donate the WW piece so they can make the mold... And we have a donation...

Here is an idea. Some one can take that WW piece and create a vaccum mold. Buy the carbon fiber cloth (the real stuff) to the resin it to the mold. Its done the same way as fiber glass. The carbon fiber and resin vaccum seal it and heat up the piece. Then pop off the mold and drop a clear coat over it.

I could have done it but i no longer have access to the mechincal engineering and materials labs at the university i'm attending. We made some carbon parts for this human-power vechicle project there. I'd volunteer and help, but no have access to those lab, since i no longer a mech engineer. major.

You could probably see if a shop that builds boats or airplane will do it, they work with carbon fiber. Or try contacting shop that do fiber glass.

The WW one is urethane. You wouldn't be able to make a mold off that due to the flexibility it has.

I've already shown them the pics and they're going to talk about it at a meeting there.
