Ghost are you seriously gonna drive this way just to head back that way? I vote for a couple different places to make things easier.

IHOP off I-85 in Durham at North Pointe Shopping Center(Guess Road)
Cracker Barrel off I-85 in Durham(Hillsboro Road)
or
Cracker Barrel off I-85/40 in Burlington not sure of the exit because it just opened but it's right into Alamance County. Burlington would give a earlier drive for the beach people though.

Both the IHOP and Cracker Barrel are more towards High Point than Morrisville but it seems like Morrisville is more on the way for most everybody coming from the east(wake co. and the beach).

Ghost if you don't want to drive down or don't think you can for some reason I've been to High Point and Festival park quite a few times. I know my way around here and there pretty well. Let me know either way. I will be off work for this one, if not I'll call in sick. Though my car looks like crap right now...I will be there.

Sweet...I was just wondering. They are a little closer to High Point in my opinion. But if it seems like everyone is coming from Raleigh than Morrisville is more on the way for them. They are both about the same distance from my house so it's not that it's really anymore work for me. From the 85-40 split coming from High Point those two are about 5-10 miles off of the split and Morrisville is about 10-15. I could be wrong but it just seems a little closer to me.

Justin...are you still gonna be there? How about good old bootleg? I haven't seen you guys in a while. With work and not having a home I just haven't been able to do too much lately.

We'll both be there. Thats why this meet is going to be so great. All the people that we haven't seen in a long time are coming out of the woodwork along with a bunch of new faces.

Ok guys, this is final. We have rented out part of a lake that can hold up to 300 cars, and has 2 shelters to hold alot of people. So this meet will take place rain or shine. There is also a beach area, and a boat dock, so If you want to suntan you can bring a towel. I will post pics of the location and post directions below.

Directions:

From I40: Take the Hwy68 Exit West, Go approx. 5 miles till you reach the SkeetClub Rd. light. Make a right, go approx 2 1/2 miles to the Jhonson ST. light and make a left. Go approx 1 mile to Old Mill Rd. light. Turn left onto Old Mill Rd. Then about 3/4 mile Old mill will end onto Waterveiw RD. Turn right on Waterveiw and the lot is straight ahead on waterveiw about 3/4 down on the end.

From I85: Get off on Hwy311 N.(N.Main ST. Downtown) and go north about 8 miles to Hwy68 (EastChester Dr.) Make a right. Next light Jhonson St. Make a left. Go about 2 1/2 miles to Old Mill Rd. Turn right,Then about 3/4 mile Old mill will end onto Waterveiw RD. Turn right on Waterveiw and the lot is straight ahead on waterveiw about 3/4 down on the end.

The Meet starts Aug 7 at 1pm till its over!! We will be raffling prises and well be giving away "Best of The Meet Trophy". To the nicest ride that shows up. There will be drinks, and food.

we are meeting at 10:30. The barrel is about 1 hour from the meet maybe a little less. You are completely welcomed to join and just post up if you are unsure on anything else. The directions to the cracker barrel can be found www.crackerbarrel.com and it was also posted by corwin.

Well me and heathen(matthew) decided that we should all caravan to the bash to make a short drive even shorter. Somewhere by I-40 i figure we just make a list of where everyone is coming from then we can make a choice from there.

Could be some cool photoage as well all the pros on the road.

The location or exit number A or B would be dependant on the direction you are coming from. Be sure to run a mapquest or look at the map before going!!!!!! For me it's A according to mapquest. Either way it should be too hard to find as it's less than .5 from I-40.
