Car suggestions

in louisiana we have a magazine called news on wheels... has all local listings, check ur area , yall might have a form of this

anyone know what all the codes like ci and allthat mean for bmw? there are like 18 different 325 models

you kidding me a jetta? Over engineered cars made by a bunch of idiots in mexico. Id get a mustang not much to screw up.

Id prob buy a chevy 1500 extended cab.

i say an is300, especially if you dont want to mod it. you can definitely get one at a dealer for 20k, I would assume less than that if it has medium miles. and its a toyota so its good for life.

srt4 or wrx i bet you will be back to modding in no time

how about a 99 m3? 4 or 2 door. those are tight
2000-2002ish TL? type-s maybe?

i cant afford 20k ... or i can, but my credit doesnt have that much play with the GMC Envoy i hav eon it ...

i couldnt find an is300 in manual...wrx i dont think ill mod except rims/drop. same with srt.

i think i looked for m3s but couldnt find any in my price range with option i wanted around here.

i hadnt looked at the tl.

if you dont want to contribute screw off...im taking suggestions...i have looked into different cars that people have suggested. im sorry i dont want to jump into a frigging car without input from other people who may have owned one or something.

maybe if you people wouuld read (if the shoe fits wear it) this wouldnt go on for so damn long with 8 suggestions forthe same ******* cars.

Matt.... clam down man, I was just kidding!
This is by far one of the more intersting thread going on right now!

if you are going to continue this whole "intranet" thing, you gotta lighten up!

So anyway............... did you find your WRX or Mustang yet?
They seem to be the only two you liked.
Read backwards. They are the only ones you posted in any detail about.

go with your initial feelings there's a reason you named them in your first post right?

well if your not going to mod your next car and you want it fast then don't buy a wrx. i felt a stock wrx was weak in power.

i had my srt-4 for a year now and been very happy with it. great power stock but it is hard not to mod it. you have drive one cause its not for everyone. it's hard to get use the shifter. thats the only complaint i have with the car.

sorry cable im really in a lot of pain right now i didnt mean to snap at you.

so far im most interested in (in order):

WRX
SRT4
Miata (but having a hard time finding manual, decent milage)
(possibly Trans Am)

i think ive ruled out the mustang because i dont want another headache car and the only style i really like are 88-93 unless older cobra model (like 94 o something), and most have been beat and/or have 100k+ miles.

i like the wrx the most but there arent TOO many around in my range...i like the miata but state dht eproblems above, and the srt as well but only one or two maybe near me within my range.

transam is just a car i like, and since american cars are s*** for resale, makes a few possiblty available...

something minor like a shifter i can replace...when i say modding i mean anything serious like true performance mods outside of exhaust, and even that im not going to mod outside of legal parameters like removing cats etc. and also no major mods appearance wise either except rims and a drop (especially on the SRT, which needs both of those)...and if its a turbo car ill probably put a gauge or two for safety sake. but really, i have no intersted in doing anything like the current project....such a headache, such a headache to remove s***.

how much was your srt new? sometimes even though a new car is several k more expensive, they have more rebates and better interest...making it end up the same...but only like if its a difference of a couple k's.

vindication - i dont like trucks to own. i loved my exwifes envoy but i would never own one. first off i only drive std trannies, second i hate having to constantly slow down in corners etc. im not looking for an autox car but im saying simple turns you have to slow down for with trucks.

yea thats too much for the interest and rebates to make up for unless they have some outrageous like 5k rebate which theyre too popular lol
