Car still flashes Key fob battery low after battery change CX 5 2019

My Key fob was dying so I replaced it with a 2025 battery last week. It works but often when I get into my car, it still says no key detected and I have to press my fob on the started button to start. Any ideas what is going on? This didn't happen last time I changed the battery

That is pretty weird.
I bought some batteries, I think they were a 4-pack. The first one(s) were ok, but when I tried to use the remaining batteries several years later they were already low.
Did you buy some fresh ones this time? I had to go out and buy another pack.
