car really messed up

OK heres the problem, im driving first, second, then put it in third it sounds like my intake tone changed.. put it in second then third still notice it.. go to the mall for a lil then on the way home as im driving i go into third and then it sounds like something is dragging like a plastic is dragging frmo undr the car. i get out and there nothing..

go to my friends house it just gets worse, jack the car up.. the wheel when spun by hand (front) go about one and a half turns then stop and the entire engine including tranny moves back n forward, i force the wheel and it goes and then stops again...

it sounds like there are cans under my car tied to a rope, i drove home in second gear with my emergency lights on..

anyon kno wat this is ? i am going to bring it to mazda asap.. btw i have done burnouts in this car and have done them when serious wheel hop occurced.. also shift very fast and powershifted about twice through a few gears evr.:wtf:

maybe your motor/ tranny mounts are FUBAR?

ye i poped the hood and reved the engine just a bit and the entire engine \ tarnny moved like an inch forward and back and im sure it didnt rise above 1000 rpm

the stock motor mounts are super soft and the engine and tranny will move and stuff when you rev and start the car. i donno bout the sound of cans tho.

k went to look at my mounts, the left side i look inside and the rubber where the bar goes is liek sticking out and the bar is pushed to the side instead of right in the center, the engien moves back n forwrd with my hand...

how come it feels like nothing watns to moved its a big jam between my wheels spinning freely and my shifter engaging

The motor mounts help hold your engine and drivetrain in-line for shifting, and just plain engagement.

a couple of your motor/tranny mounts are shot...and either its not allowing the shifter to move to the position it should to properly engage third....OR you have damaged your tranny with all the activities you mentioned...the burn outs and stuff.....

did you try to get it into 4th? and if so...how did it sound?
