Car got ran over... literally :(

Well... the more I look at it the more it appears that it may get totalled. Because yeh the bumper, trunk lid, window and fender are fixable, but the actuall trunk it self it what might just end that cars life.

And NO! I will not get a f'ing Dodge Srt-4... I HATE THOSE THINGS!!! They are sooo ugly. I will most likely get another Protege, never in my life have I been this satisfied with a car.

Well... gotta run and have my mommy take me to work (god that sucks...lol).

Yeh... I am considering that option... MSP or MP3.

Oh yeh.. and someone asked earlier if I was in it when it happened... yes yes I was. Very weird experience... I had no idea what the hell happened or what even happened to my car until I got out of it to look. I didn't even know I was missing my rear window for about 2 or 3 minutes...lol.

I'm going to have to agree with this as well. If it tweeked the frame of the car since we have a uni-body design, your farked. I'm glad that you are ok though, things could always be worse, thank god it didn't push you into another car and potentially cause even more damage and possible injury.

True, but he has insurance thank god!!!! So once I can get the police report all should be ok.

i dunno how insurance works in the states. but that's up to the insurance to get the money out of him. if the guy didn't have insurance on his truck, just more jail time, and your insurance bites the bullet.

same way, I had someone hit my previous car & it was completely her fault. her insurance company paid for all the damages & my insurance co was never made aware of it

that blows man. i've gotten in 3 accidents in the past year. 2 of them being me getting rear-ended. i'm gonna guess and say i think it's about 3000-4000 bucks worth of damage.

i also think there are laws against too much lift for that exact reason. I know for a fact that in orlando you can't have the bottom of your bumper higher than 18" from the ground or they can impound your truck. should be laws everywhere. i saw a truck driving around columbia that was like jacked up about 5 feet and he almost didn't care about the other cars on the road. he would drive over curbs and everything. totally being wreckless. some lift is okay, but if you are gonna lift it like 12" then it's for off road only, it's too damn dangerous for the other drivers on the road
