car beeped 3 times

Hey guys, today driving home my car I was on the phone with my wife and out of no where I heard 3 beeps. Not like the car horn beep, but an interior beep. I got home, turned the car off, and searched google. Most sites talked about something being wrong with the alarm system, or the door sensors, or something like that, which would suck but it's not that big of a deal to me. I also saw that sometimes it could be a sign that your car is over-heating/something wrong with radiator. I immediately got worried because I noticed the other day my FMIC piping rubbing on one of the radiator hoses(The one near the intake manifold). Anyway, I started the car up and checked the coolant temp. It was around 220-230. I thought that seemed high. I took off the resevoir cap and it smelled bad to me, like burning, but then again it was still hot. I have 46k miles, I could probably use a flush anyway, but any ideas as to what the beeps are telling me?

Are there any lights on the gauge cluster illuminated that usually aren't? When the TPMS indicator comes on you get 3 interior beeps and you will see the low tire pressure light illuminated. Take a pic of your gauge cluster and post it.

yeah my tpms light is always on as I have aftermarket wheels, but I don't remember it ever beeping before. Maybe thats what it was, just seems odd that I've never noticed it before. Thats the only light thats on, no check engine or anything else.

There is nothing else that i can think of that beeps inside out car as a warning....even the check engine light doesn't make any audible noise what-so-ever. So most likely that is what it is.

wait..do you put anything heavy in the passenger seat besides a person? anything over 35 lbs i think will cause the seatbelt light to come on and the first time it makes a beeping noise.......

Only beeps I've ever heard from my car came from the TPMS...(yeah low pressure in the tires usually thanks to all the nails I pick off the roads for the state of Oklahoma)...OH and it definately beeped three times when it happened.....I bet yours is related to that...Now why it would do it now after how many miles of driving without it I don't know.....
