I've done numerous searches on turbo timer installs and I ended up getting it installed but not being able to use the factory alarm system. Either way I have just the timer installed with the passive alarm in 30 seconds after ignition is cut off.
Turbo timer is on set for 30 seconds, I take the key out of the ignition and the car almost turns off then revs back up to normal idle and will wait the 30 seconds before turning off. If it doesn't do that since the revs drop down so low when I turn the car off the car will just turn off.
I thought it could possibly be the batter however Mazda said the battery was ok after I took it in to have them look at it. I had the car at like 4,000 rpms then put the car into nuetral with the stereo going and the car stalled out. I drove it the rest of the night without any issues and Mazda said the ECU didn't store any codes and it appears everything is fine. I'm still leaning towards the battery but has anyone ever had this issue ?
Oh and if anyone knows how to get the stupid alarm to work with the turbo timer running that would be great. I tried doing one of the posts with the two relays but all it did was lock the doors 8 million times when I hooked them up to ground.
Thanks !!!
