Can't Get Into Trunk! (99' 626)

I'm a proud (new)owner of a 99' 626. Nice Green. but i can't get into the trunk. the only key i have gets me into the driver's door and the ignition. i've asked numerous times and nobody seems to recall another key.... go fig. lol. but whenever i push the trunk button all i hear is a click from the fuses. that's it. key won't fit or even tempt to go into the lock. does anyone have any suggestions? i checked the diagram for the fuses as to what each fuse is but i don't see a "trunk" fuse. maybe i am missing something? can anyone help me?

Odds are that your trunk's keyhole is clogged with dirt from over the years. If you pull your seats down there is a switch on the driver's side which you press to enable the driver's door button to unlock and open it. Hope this helps
