Cant find an intake for a 1.5????

Try fabricating a 98+ honda accord air intake. Thats what i did for my protege. THats if none of you guys ever tryed it or anything.

yes it works but you need a 2 1/4 - 3 piece of rubber to fit the maf to the intake. and cut a small hole in that for a iat fitting. It works i have it done to my protege. and there is no computer faults unless you dont have the IAT sensor mounted right. your battery light will come on.

any idea what the horsepower gain is from the intake ? maybe 3-5 HP ?

hp gains

with a intake, muffler, gutted cats, short shifter, racing ignition parts, stage 1 clutch, i think you can get about 25 hp. thats all i have, and i can tell a big difference in the gains i have from all of this. I would have to say though, with muffler, and intake, you would get 8 hp. But as you all know the protege is torquey as s*** and with a muffler with gutted exhaust, when you do 30mph at 3,000 rpms it sounds like your going 80
