ken i may buy that from you on the 15th if im still having problems after the fuel pump..i paypaled you the money but im hoping the walbro doesnt need any modification to work.
order has been placed on the Walbro, my friend. a fuel pressure gauge, especially with an FPR, is essential in my opinion to help get the best and proper pressure out of your fuel system.

im about to post some vids of a gradual escalation from 6psi to 9 psi. This is stock everything, the last one is how I have been for 11,000 miles. Sorry about the movement, but its kinda hard to keep it straight when hawling major ass.

here are some pics of my FMU

dude mike i hope that the line that comes off the front of the FMU at a right angle in the first pic goes to your fuel rail. otherwise i hve it hooked up wrong.

It does, I just tucked it under some other lines to keep the engine bay neat.

Matt,

I did not read through every post. But IMO from what you have described I would say your pump is NOT supporting enough fuel PRESSRE.The stock pump will not hold pressure over 50psi or so.Since you are using an FMU you are adding fuel by spiking fuel pressure. With that being said, you need a high pressure pump.
Next, a Stoich gauge is not accurate and should be through out the window.A stoich gauge reads .0-1.0 volt while a wideband reads .0-5.0 volts.
I have not had time to answer back to your last email but I'm interested in helping you.Give me a call at 480-203-7038.

Thanks,
Beau

Good. The stock pump starts failing soon after boost and higher fuel pressure due to an FMU.

i think it must be the fuel pump because now i cant even boost 5psi without leaning out. i checked everything and everything under the hood seems to be the same as it was when i COULD boost 5psi...so im guessing the fuel pump was damaged trying to push out the required pressure and now its really jacked up and getting worse.

When does the new pump arrive? I'm interested in hearing the results. . .I'm sure you'll let us know. . .

please do not drive your car if you fuel pump is getting worse like you describe.
