Can't boost over 5-6psi PLEASE HELP

also i have stock fpr...and no i dont have aux fuel pump but supposedly jamie was running this kit with no problems...i think he might have an inline fuel pump though im not sure.
 
does it say to use the brake booster vacuum line? I dont think it will make a difference but i know we didnt use that vacuum source on chris's install.

If your wiring is all right and the fmu is hooked up right then either the wiring is wrong or the 02 modifier itself is busted. Maybe the fmu is not working. I dunno.

Change the spark plugs yet matt? Go to colder one's see if you can boost over 6psi. And you are using premium gas I hope. (freak)

What fuel pressure are you getting when you are over 5psi boost - should be about 75psi when you hit 6
 
Which spool kit are you running? I should see Terry either this week or this weekend, so I can ask him if he has any ideas if you want. I wish I had read this thread earlier as I was just with Terry earlier today.

hey matt i suggest you Pm mp5jeff or im him on aim his aim name... Im me on aim matt EviLTerreN and ill give ya his aim name.. jeff is REALLY good with turbos he has a custome turbo on his P5..
 
wait so the stock fpr is still hooked up? arent you supposed to disconnect vacuum from it? assuming that fmu works like afpr.

so basically anything could not be working lol...

no it doesnt say to use the brake booster but its the strongest vacuum the car has. the o2 wiring i dont think is wrong, but i can check...

would it matter that im getting a CEL for EGT pipe being welded shut (as per instructions)

ive got brand new 2 step colder ngk plugs. yes im using 91 octane, it cost 22 bucks to fill up and revving the engine like a madman is certainly taking its toll on the fuel tank level.

did u ever cut the egt open and try running it to the crankcase like bevis suggested?

you mean the vacuum line that runs off the little square box in the upper left corner above the block? no i never disconnected it. i didnt know i was supposed to.

no i could go out there and use a hacksaw but i just dont ahve the tubing to connect it to the crank case...plus ive got no straight answer as to where to run it...some people said leave it shut, some said leave it up, some said connect to the breather, some said etc etc.

i can drive it soft, but it still goes lean when i floor it...it shouldnt do that if im not mistaken...how else woudl you race or go to a track?
