im running LEAN as soon as i floor it. i dont know what to do...the FMU has its own vacuum from the brake booster and everything else but the BOV has its own s***...the BOV is t-d off the volt clamp or boost guage im not sure which ive got them both running inside the cab.

i dont hear any vacuum leaks...no fuel leaks...pics to come but please help me brainstorm...

I WILL SEND A MONEY ORDER FOR $75 TO THE PERSON THAT GETS MY CAR RUNNING OR GIVES ME INFORMATION THAT GETS MY CAR RUNNING CORRECTLY.

i cant boost over stock levels period for the most part...maybe 4psi...i just verified everthing was hooked up to the clamp correctly and it is.

are you sure you hooked the mbc up right? Because i know the spring in the deltagte wastegate is set to about 4-5 psi, and if you botched the install on the mbc then the wastegate will always open at only around 4-5 and you wont be able to achieve any higher boost then that. Make sure that you rmbc is hooked up right.

please read the whole post everyone...i COULD in theory boost over 5-6psi, but i CANNOT because as soon as i floor it, it goes ULTRA lean...like the first one or two red dots.

some pics mostly of the voltage clamp

how old is that fmu? it looks like its been around the block a few times...

it was on mp3skaternc's car...he said it worked fine on his...how can itell if its not working

also, with those self taps, you have to be careful that they dont accidentally cut the whole wire in half. I have had that happen a few times. I would check your wiring, open all those quick taps and make sure you didnt cut a wire all the way in half accidentally. If that were to happen then obviously tour voltage clamp would not work.

theoretically the FMU shouldnt go "bad" but it is a possibility so dont rule it out. As for checking that it works, make sure everything else is done right. all wiring etc, and then you can start targeting the fmu. Also is there anyone near you with a WB02 sensor? Those narrow band sensors are s*** when it comes to tuning. I say check the wiring.

dude there is NO ONE in this WHOLE town that know s*** about s*** on cars...period.

if one of those things DID cut the wire in half it would come out of the clamp, wouldnt it? i pulled on them all and they were all snug.

matt. sometimes u can cut the wire in half.. and the lil piece of s*** plastic wrap can still hold. -=\

not necessarily, it could still be lodged in there. I would say open them up and inspect for your self. The sheathing may be whats holding the wire together. Other than that and the fmu being hooked up wring or being broken, i dont know what else could be the problem.

take off those pieces of crap and either get butt-splices or solder... PLEASE!!!!!

dude, those things are the devil... and if I didn't have s*** to do I would personally come down there and solder every last one of those wires for you.

butt splicers are good.. take a lil more time but they will last longer.. also if your proficient with a sodering iron.. that is the best.. just make sure to use th heat shrink wrap over it. -=)
