Can't answer phone. Bluetooth hearing aids overriding? 2023 CX-5

2023 CX5 - Can't answer phone using buttons. I think the bluetooth connection on my phone to my hearing aids overrides it. Didn't have this problem with my last car.(ford ugh.) Is there a workaround?

I believe that most, if not all, bluetooth device will only connect to one device at a time.

I don't know why your Ford worked but not the Mazda.

Not the case anymore. I'd say the opposite is true in that most modern phones connect to multiple Bluetooth devices at once.

@Johnnyr , check on the car settings under "devices" to see that it's set to call and media audio. Beyond that, I suppose you could manually disable the hearing aid connection on the phone when you use the car. (That would be tedious though eh?)

In my case, my phone will use whatever is connected last if multiple connections support calling.

Interesting, in my 3rd gen the car has priority over my hearing aids. I have to use the phone to bypass it. Check your phone settings.
