Before anyone flames me  , I already did a few searches and cant find what I am looking for. I am pretty sure i read on here that there was a company in Canada that is building, or has built a Turbo for the 2.0.

can someone enlighten me as to who it is because I have a friend who is an agent and is setting up his own shop in my area and is looking to support imports such as Mazda, and Honda (majority of support in our area).

Oh, yeah. anyone else who is interested in getting some products up my way (spool, perf, hiboost, flyin) let me know. We are in very early stages but there is potential in my market as it is a fast growing import scene.

thanks for the time guys.

Robbie.

what is everyones take on the Essential speed stage II kit? 4500 canadian is like 3250 USD. for a few hundered extra bucks I can get the hiboost kit, or Nicks. Any one know what Essential is using for engine managment?

hhhmmmmm,

all these views and no opinions. where are all you opinionated people that like to cause s*** from time to time. I know your out there, lol.

seriously though. I already got a response from hiboost. any other interest just let me know. there is no costs right now, like I said, we are in early stages of setting up shop.

I've been trying to find feedback on the essential speed kit as well. I've been talking to the owner there, Kevin, about his short header and possible some custom piping to replace the stock midpipe. I left a message on the TO protege forum looking for the owner of the P5 that essential speed turboed... if I get any news I'll pass it along..

Nice to see another Bluenoser on here :)

Basically, Essential Speed is the only Canadian company to have a kit. I know of a couple of custom setups done in the GTA, but nothing in production.

Thanks for the responses guys.

I have a friend who is interested in selling some well made quality kits here on the east coast of Canada.

I need some first hand info about how the essential kit, and any other kits you guys feel is worthy.

I was wondering what kind of fuel managment the essential kit used.

it seems piggyback and standalone are the best packages to do it right the first time

any feed back is appreciated.

Robbie

Essiential Speed uses a FMU (Vortech).

I think that the movement is towards an ECU based Fuel Management system (piggy back, standalone).
