Canadian Rim Sites

Is there any good Canadian sites to get wheels/tires from?

I have found http://www.bigwheelz.com/ and a bunch of American sites too. The thing about the American sites is that most of them have free shipping within the Continental US but charge a killing to Canada(shocked) . Then there is the exchange rate and what not.

If anyone here knows of a Canadian wheel/tire site, could you please let me know?(drinks)

Yeah I think they look sweet too. Now I gotta find then part with C$ 1,450.77 and get the package. In the picture it looks like they have a polished aluminum lip. Is this true or am I just seeing things?

Yeah, they do have a aluminum polished lip.

Why $1450? Is that the total with tax and shipping?

You're better to email them and change different tires...sometimes the prices on their site are a little higher then dealing with them via phone or email.

Just from what I've heard from a couple guys that bought wheel packages from Tire Trends.

Yeah that will be final cost including GST and shipping. What do you mean by "change different tires"?

I think he means a different brand of tire. If your serious about getting a package, I'm sure you could talk them down.

As for the rim you picked. You sure those will fit the P5? I had a brief look and the webpage said a bolt pattern of 4 X 100.

Yeah I didnt really check if they fit. I dont know much about rims but the 4 means 4 lugs right? And the P5 has 5 lugs? Correct me if I'm wrong.

1010tires.com is a Canadian site as well I think. I haven't used any of these so I'm not sure how they compare.

Yep the 4 means the lugs. The other number in the bolt circle diameter in mm. The P5 is 5 x 114.3mm

Thats weird because in the pic there is definitely 5 holes for the lugs.

Hey, sgryzko

Figured I'd let you know...I just priced out my same wheel and tire package on those sites, and their prices were all higher than what I got here in town...and there are plenty of people who carry Konig.

Ya.the Holes are nice man. 17 or 18? What kinda tires you getting? Remember to keep in mind the offset of the rim as well or you're gonna rub if you lower your car.

I'll be getting the 17s. I'm not really sure what tires to get but the package on Tiretrends comes with Yokohama Avid H4's http://www.tiretrends.com/tire_info.php3?detailID=2505&invTable=TireDetail

What places here in town can I talk to? Where did you get your rims?

If those won't werk, these ones will , they are Motegi rims, similar looking to the konig holes. They are still lightwieght, and look good. They are the exact dimensions, except with a 42mm offset

I just bought 17" Konig graphite Holes with Falken ZE-512s 205/40R17 from Tiretrends and they are great. Bob at Tiretrends is a real nice guy to deal with. Give him a call and ask questions.

Shipping is relatively cheap and fast. Don't forget that you are buying in Canada so you DON'T have to worry about any sort brokerage fee or duty at the border.

My package came well packed, mounted and balanced. Don't forget to ask about the lock nuts too.
