Canadians love the Protege in general.... the percentage of proteges to the population of Canada is crazy.... you can not go 5 minutes in Toronto without seeing one.

When we have a "mini" meet...organized in less than a couple of days... we get 30 cars out.

My friend just got back from Canada and said that he saw at least 1 protege out of every 5 cars... I guess he wasn't exaggerating.

Protege 5 replaced civics in Montreal when they first came out. It was the sport compact to own. They are as common if not more than civics up there...

You sure get a lot of looks and thumbs up when you ride in an MSP there (unlike stinkin Ohio)...

there are at least 4 other orange speeds with a 5 mile distance of mine here in oakville, its funny when i tell people there are not many of them, they think i am lying lol

There is definitly a lot of Protege's in Canada...Well atleast in the Toronto Area. P5's are extremely popular. I get a lot of attention in my speed also. Partly because its a speed, and partly because it yellow.

Down here in Nova Scotia there are many Protege's and quite a few P5's. As far as MSP's go, I have one of 2 orange MSP's in a city of 350,000 people. I think there are 3 Titaniums. The MSM on my dealers lot hasnt moved since it showed up there. From what the sales guy told me, no one has even looked at it seriously. I don't think Mazda Canada is promoting the Mazda Speed line at all here.
