Canadian Mazda 3 Options?

Hi there

Does the Canadian Mazda 3 GT have Xenons?
Or is this option not available in canada

What about the tire pressure monitoring system that seems to be a US option, do we get that standard cause I dont see it as an option from mazda canada.

Xenon headlights, navigational system, tire pressure monitoring system and side airbags aren't available up here. But we do get auto headlights and auto windshield wipers while our American friends don't. Sounds fair doesn't it?

Thanks man that is what I thought but I wasn't certain. Well actually I just found it so hard to believe and I had to ask the question.

The lack of side air bags pisses me off and I would like the xenons but can live without them. I don't understand who at mazda canada makes these decisions. I sent them a letter to ask why they didn't offer the side air bags but I haven't had a response yet. Worst case they could offer them at a really high price. A choice is always better than no choice.

Let me add that we also don't get either of the auto-dimming rearview mirrors because we get the auto wipers (mirror's wirinig interferes with the sensor's wiring for the auto wipers).

I believe he meant the GX trim... not the GFX package, because GX doesn't have auto-wipers.

I don't care much for xenons. At first I tought auto headlights and wipers were kinda dumb but now I couldn't do without them. And heated mirrors are awesome in the winter.

One option that I don't understand why is not available in Canada for the 3 is the heated seats! I had a Jetta for 4 years and that makes a huge difference in Montreal at -30 C (-20 F)

I might of misunderstood I was told yesterday that there's no real difference between the 04's and the 05's.

They were gonna give me an 05 for a couple dollars more when I went to order my car yesterday........ I decided to stay with the 04.........

-50 C with the wind chill a couple of days of this past winter. Anything under. Montreal winters are truely the worst. PPL that drive here are Fucktards, you get cut off every other minute and when you park and come back to your car, your bumpers are scratched. Oh and did I mention we have SOO MANY DAMN POT HOLES?
